If you plan to spend the summer on the go, Frontier Airlines is offering a deal that is hard to resist.
The Denver-based airline recently unveiled a sale on its GoWild! Summer Pass that will allow travelers to take as many flights as they like between May 2 and Sept. 30 for a total of $399. Normally, the pass price is $999.
Flights are available for booking the day prior to flight departure for domestic travel and starting 10 days before flight departure for international travel.
Frontier serves more than 100 destinations throughout the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America.
In a press release announcing the sale, Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial for Frontier Airlines, says:
“For people with flexible schedules, this is a terrific opportunity to have a truly epic summer and then some, soaking up rays on the beach, exploring national parks and visiting new cities.”
Technically, you will still have to pay something for each flight. Airfare will cost 1 cent per segment booked, and you will also pay all applicable taxes, fees and charges when you book.
You will have to pay for any add-on options such as bags, too. However, if you plan to fly a lot this summer, this can still be a good deal.
Blackout dates for the 2023 summer period include:
- May 25-26, 29
- June 29-30
- July 1-5, 8-9
- Aug. 31
- Sept. 1, 4
Also, note that these flights are not eligible for earning miles or status, although they will extend your Frontier Miles expiration date. In addition, the pass automatically renews at the end of the term unless you cancel.
Frontier also is running a sale on its annual GoWild! Pass. For $1,299, you can book an unlimited number of flights for one year starting on May 2. Normally, the cost of such a pass is $1,999.
