1. Never Sacrifice Your Integrity
Integrity is the only thing that no one can ever take from you. You have to give it away. 2. Life Is Not a Competition

3. It’s Okay To Be Average
Not everyone will be a Nobel Prize winner or a Superbowl champion. Unfortunately, according to one user, “social media and most modern advertising designed to make you feel insecure.” Thus, it’s okay just to be average. They add, “The world runs because truckers, painters, builders, electricians, teachers, shop attendants, machinists, etc.”

4. Fast Hustles Never End Good
A user said that there are “get rich quick” schemes that have ruined some people’s lives. “Immediately, they told me all I had to do was pay for all the products, and you resell them.” Instead, a more long-term ongoing success shared by another was “work hard, save your money, and you will never have to look over your shoulder.”
5. Be Nicer To Yourself
Another user shared that all his guy friends, himself included, are very hard on themselves. They would criticize themselves for the smallest mistakes and perceived faults. They said, “But If someone else spoke to us that way, it would cause a fight. That’s no way to treat yourself, and it bleeds over into how you treat other people.”
6. Stay In Shape
Being healthy is important. However, one user shared that staying in shape is easier than getting into shape. You may find yourself busy at work, not making time for the gym. Don’t make that mistake! Building a regular happy is key, whereas starting from ground zero can pose a challenge.
7. Never Forget To Date Your Wife
Work may keep you busying, but don’t forget the woman who supports you. Date nights can be fantastic. It allows you two to spend some alone time, especially if you have kids. In addition, a nice restaurant with a nice evening walk can do wonders. One user shared, “My wife and I went on our first date in about four months last weekend and were both still giddy about it!”
8. Your Actions Have Consequences
Your actions always have consequences, good or bad it’s up to you. But there will be consequences, and they will get you on a path. One user said, “Choose wisely and think about what type of lifestyle you wish to have. Consequences will follow you all your life, and you have to learn to live with them.”
9. Just Because It’s Offered Doesn’t Mean You Have to Take It
This advice can apply to money, as one user said, “It’s not frugal if you don’t need it, even if it’s on sale.” Another user rephrased it as, “Just because you can doesn’t mean that you should.
