Tiger Woods’ various championship wins and numerous endorsements earn him the status of a billionaire. Forbes estimated that Woods, one of the most famous athletes in all of sports, has earned one-point-seven billion dollars over his twenty-seven-year career.

2. Peter Jackson

Peter Jackson is best known as the director of The Lord of the Rings franchise. He joined the Forbes list of billionaires in April of 2022. It was reported that his billionaire status was cemented the November prior when he sold a stake in his company Weta for nine-hundred-seventy-five million dollars. He is reportedly worth one-point-five billion dollars.

3. Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian, the fashion and beauty mogul’s net worth has increased to one point eight billion dollars, earning her a continued spot on the 2022 Forbes World Billionaire List. It is estimated that since October 2020, Kardashian’s net worth has skyrocketed from seven-hundred-eighty million dollars thanks to her businesses KKW Beauty, KKW Fragrance, and SKIMS, her Keeping Up with the Kardashians paycheck, endorsement deals, and investments.

4. Oprah Winfrey

With a net worth of two-point-six billion dollars, Oprah Winfrey’s ongoing wealth can be attributed to her hit talk show, which transitioned into a media empire, her OWN cable network, her partnership with Weight Watchers, and her 2018 deal with Apple’s streaming service, which will allow her to create original content, including a book club, documentaries, and TV series.

5. Steven Spielberg

His estimated take from the 1993 blockbuster Jurassic Park was a then-record two-hundred-fifty million dollars. The three-time Oscar-winning director’s movies have since grossed more than ten billion, and he gets a slice of cash from every ticket sold at Universal theme parks thanks to hits like the Indiana Jones series.

6. Kylie Jenner

Forbes named Jenner the youngest self-made billionaire ever at age twenty-one, a title that seemed confirmed when she sold fifty-one percent of Kylie Cosmetics to beauty giant Coty in January 2020 at a one-point-two billion dollar valuation.

7. Tyler Perry

Perry has had his hands in more than one thousand episodes of television, plus roughly four dozen movies and plays. He brought in at least one-point-four billion dollars in pretax income between 2005 and 2021 from productions, entertainment company Tyler Perry Studios, and a content deal with ViacomCBS that nets him one-hundred-fifty million dollars a year.

He owns two planes and real estate in Atlanta, New York, Wyoming, and Los Angeles. He famously lent one of his homes there to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they stepped down as senior members of the British royal family.

Forbes estimates Rihanna has a thirty percent stake in Savage x Fenty, valued at three billion dollars when it was reportedly considering an IPO over a year ago.

His biggest sources of wealth are his two alcohol lines.
